Tugger
Always overeager, TUGGER, a Jeep® 4x4, creates his own adventures as he seeks to fulfill his dream of flying. Injured in the war, his radiator fan was replaced with an airplane propeller providing inspiration to his very special dream. With his best friend Shorty, Jeep® TUGGER overcomes great obstacles and realizes dreams can be powerful things.
Shorty
A WWII-vintage short-wave radio, Shorty is Tugger's best friend and nervous side-kick.
Ma and Pa Pump
A pair of old gas pumps, Ma and Pa argue frequently. Pa urges Jeep® TUGGER to pursue his dreams; Ma cautions him to keep his wheels firmly on the ground.
The Chief
This tough former Marine sergeant is the tower chief at the airfield and finds that his efforts to run a tight, spit-and-polish operation are often challenged by Jeep® Tugger's antics.
Lucy
The sweet, good-natured Lucy is highly superstitious, especially about anyone walking under her ladder.
Max
As the Chief's dog, Max has the run of the airfield and a strange addiction to tires or anything that smells like burning rubber.
Bob
Jeep® TUGGER's hero, Bob, is a former WWII bomber who has been refitted as a fire fighter. |
